3D avatars, digital creation and animation

In the workshop we are going to propose alternatives to Ready Player Me (it stopped working in January 2026) for the design of 3D downloadable avatars: VRoid, Makehuman, Avaturn….
We will use free software like Blender and web applications like Mixamo, so that people participating in the workshop should have their own devices and internet connection (it can be the computer of the teachers in Catalonia).
We will also explore AI tools that can be very useful for the generation of characters, textures,… and we will propose new applications to teaching.
