This project aims to train teachers to collaboratively create gamified classroom experiences with challenges related to the SDGs. Based on the educational potential described in the report “Analysis and reflections on the potential impact of the metaverse in the educational sector” (UOC, 2022) we will use metaverse technologies to design gamified experiences. At the same time, it will help teachers to acquire a higher degree of CDD in response to the demands of the MRCDD, the LOMLOE and, specifically, Decree 175/2022, which regulates the teaching of basic education. A space will be created in the metaverse as a virtual learning environment (EVA) and for the dissemination of gamified experiences. This will become a reference space for digital skills and sustainability. The project will enable teachers to understand and critically use virtual reality applied to education, following the six areas of the MRCDD. We will learn about the necessary technology, the resources available on the network and how to create new resources and scenarios using tools such as Rec Room , among others.
