The project takes virtual and augmented reality as a starting point. It is a cross-cutting project involving technology and English. It takes place in the 2nd year of ESO with the objective of working digitally on both written and oral expression. At the same time, I wanted it to be an interlevel project so that students from lower grades could learn from it. From this, we came up with the idea of sharing the work in the open doors with 6th grade. To begin with, the 2nd ESO class was divided in two. One group designed Merge Cubes with information about the institute using CoSpaces and others focused on cultural attraction sites in English-speaking countries. Students worked individually, in pairs and in groups. At the same time, the fast-finishers created a virtual tour of the institute in order to post it on the web and thus publicize the center. To access the content of the Merge Cubes, the teacher generated several QRs – which once printed were placed on a paper model of London and New York. This material was very useful for teaching and explaining the project to primary school students.
